WN Estates Family
Fund

One of our more recent funds, the WN Estates Family Fund, was established to support organisations and activities that assist the most vulnerable children, young people and families living in rural east Suffolk. There is a particular focus on improving educational attainment and access to facilities, advice and training.

The family are very keen to help make a real difference to the many grassroots groups whose work is often hidden under the radar and chose to work with Suffolk Community Foundation to ensure their funding was targeted where it would make the most impact.

We have been impressed by the supportive environment of the foundation, which makes giving exciting. Their knowledge and understanding of the hidden needs in east Suffolk has made the identification of worthy beneficiaries easier and more targeted than that which we had achieved on our own.’ William and Nicola Notcutt.

These are some groups that have been funded by The WN Estates Family Fund grants panel:

  • Grundisburgh Youth Club
  • St John the Baptist Church
  • Framlingham Area Youth Action Partnership
  • Fresh Start-new beginnings
  • Rural Coffee Caravan
  • Young People Taking Action
  • Home-Start in Suffolk
