Sapphire Fund

Grants to support charities, voluntary and community groups in Mid Suffolk working to promote the use of green spaces for the benefit of good mental and physical health, to support older people, or to support the preservation and protection of church bells.

Grants up to £5,000 are available to support charities, voluntary and community groups working in Mid Suffolk.

The fund supports projects addressing one or more of the following:

• Promoting the use of green spaces and the natural world for the benefit of good mental and physical health. This includes support to help promote the use and preservation of community buildings.
• Supporting older people in the community, particularly focusing on social events and gatherings.
• Supporting the preservation and protection of church bells.

This is a small-grant fund with awards typically up to a maximum of £5,000. However, larger grants may be available if the project is exceptional. If you are interested in a larger grant, please speak to a Grants Officer first on 01473 602602.
