Our work is set against the current backdrop of rising levels of need in Suffolk, with an estimated 75,000 now living in poverty.

An advisor’s expertise, when combined with the Foundation’s deep knowledge of local need, continues to provide wonderful opportunities for those who care about Suffolk to realise their charitable ambitions locally.

Jess from our Grants Team was delighted to attend a `Meet the team` event at Restitute at the end of August.
@restituteuk provides support to the parents, carers, and loved ones of survivors of sexual abuse, sexual violence, and other serious acts of violence. Their goal is to help these individuals manage their own trauma while ensuring they can offer the best care to their loved ones.
The event was an incredible opportunity to connect with support workers, former clients, staff, and volunteers, and to hear firsthand about the profound impact Restitute is making on the lives of those they support.

September 5th is International Day of Charity.
Today gives us the opportunity to celebrate and applaud charitable work across the country. It reminds us to give back, whether that’s to a worldwide charity or to an organisation closer to home, it spreads awareness and it prompts us to find causes we believe in.

Some of our team attended the opening of the Rural Coffee Caravan`s first-ever office last week.
The new office is located at Church Farm Yard, Walsham le Willows and guest of honour Richard Martineau cut the ribbon. CEO Ann Osborn was presented with a beautiful plant in recognition of her 20 years service.
It was a lovely sunny day and we really enjoyed looking around the new office as well as seeing their vehicles. Thank you for having us!
The @ruralcoffeecaravan exists to help rurally isolated people in Suffolk access services and information to improve their lives, health and wellbeing, and to bring people together, empowering and strengthening rural communities.

DANES (Disability Advice North East Suffolk) is a Disabled Persons Charity offering free, impartial information, advice & support to anyone in the area who has any form of disability or long term health condition.
Disability Advice North East Suffolk received £15,499 from the Digital Inclusion Fund for their Easy IT Project which will teach clients living with a disability the basics of IT, and will address the three pillars to digital inclusion - Connectivity, Education and Technology.
It was a pleasure to visit them last week to present them with a cheque.
