At Suffolk Community Foundation, we work closely with donors – sometimes with total anonymity – to assist them to give to what they love in supporting vulnerable people in Suffolk.
This short film focuses on the philanthropy of three women in our county who describe themselves as ‘three ordinary Suffolk girls’. They are in fact anything but, and their extraordinary generosity is making an incredible impact. Privacy is very important to their philanthropy and all three work entirely anonymously with the Foundation, so we have been very careful to protect their identity.
However, a few weeks ago they all met each other for the first time and had an open and honest chat about what making a difference means to them.
I like working with Suffolk Community Foundation because to me it feels safe. It’s helping me to understand more about the need in the community that I live in. If you are going to financially get involved in an organisation, you need to know that your money is going to be well looked after and that the best is going to happen with it. Suffolk Community Foundation have helped me to learn more about the need in the county and allowed me to address that need anonymously.
If you would like to become a private donor, or are simply interested in becoming involved with the Foundation, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
