Serious Violence Prevention Fund

Funding opportunity: Register to join the webinar

You’re invited to join a webinar on Wednesday the 10th of January at 10:00 for the launch of the Serious Violence Prevention Fund.

This fund has been established to support community-based initiatives aimed at preventing and reducing serious violence. It will provide opportunities to explore new and innovative approaches, allowing for valuable insights to inform potential future programmes.

The funding has been made available by the Home Office in partnership with Suffolk County Council and Suffolk Community Foundation.

The fund launches on Monday the 8th of January 2024, offering grants of up to £15,000 to community and voluntary sector organisations, public bodies and educational settings. Funding will be allocated quarterly after monitoring is received.

The objectives of the fund are:

  • To prevent and reduce serious violence
  • To improve outcomes for young people
  • To foster safe communities

Join us for a short session where you will hear more about the aims of the programme and the grant application process.

Please register to join the webinar via the form below and you will automatically receive an email with the Teams Link.
