Stand Up For Suffolk Giving Circle Hosts Inspiring Evening of Connection and Impact

This month, Georgie and James welcomed around 50 guests to their home for an event to share the positive impact the giving circle, Stand Up For Suffolk, has already achieved by supporting charities in the county.

The evening brought together members of the giving circle and representatives from charities Compassion, Home-Start in Suffolk, and Suffolk Family Carers, who shared powerful stories about their work and the pressing needs they witness firsthand.

Committee member Robin spoke passionately about the value of collaborative giving and the collective strength of the circle. Over the past two years, members have donated more than £42,000, enabling grants totalling £26,000 to be awarded to seven organisations. These grants have positively impacted the lives of over 5,000 individuals in Suffolk.  We thank them for their incredible support.

Stand Up For Suffolk will be holding their annual Christmas Fayre at Hadleigh Guildhall on Friday 21 November, 4pm to 8pm and Saturday 22 November, 10am to 4pm.
