Charlotte Rowlands joins Suffolk Community Foundation

We’re delighted that Charlotte has joined Suffolk Community Foundation as our new Director of Finance and Operations. Charlotte is a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant with over 22 years post-qualification experience gained from roles in industry, accountancy practice, and local charities. For fifteen years, Charlotte held the senior finance role at a local family-owned retail company where she was responsible for all areas of the finance function including special projects specific to the industry and was successfully promoted to Finance Director in 2013. In recent years, Charlotte has worked in various finance positions in local charities gaining understanding of the charities’ activities and has solidified her knowledge of reporting within the Charities SORP.

Whilst Charlotte is dedicated to the detail of the finances, she enjoys understanding the purpose of the organisation she works within and getting involved with activities other than just the numbers.

Alongside her career, Charlotte and her husband have raised three children and she enjoys watching West End musical theatre performances as often as she can.
