Brief Description
Grants to support charitable activities being delivered in the following Suffolk postcodes: IP1, IP2, IP3, IP4, IP5, IP6, IP7, IP8, IP9, IP10, IP11, IP12, IP13, IP14, IP15.
Multi-year funding may be considered. Please indicate on your application if you would like to apply for multi-year funding (maximum of £5,000 per year for up to 3 years).
Criteria
Grants of up to £5,000 per year for up to 3 years are available for charitable, voluntary and community groups to support charitable activities.
The fund will support applications for projects which will:
- Promote interest in and the development of water-based activities
- Support careers within the maritime sector, maritime safety and improve the welfare of mariners
- Support environmental protection
- Support local communities by improving :- education of children and/or physical/mental health and wellbeing of all
- Support the under privileged and/or socially excluded and the LGBTQIA+ community.

For the current round the panel are particularly interested in receiving applications for projects that will benefit the environment, build community resilience and promote the health and wellbeing of communities through nature-based projects.
