Brief Description

The Fund provides 3-year core cost grants to support locally run organisations in Suffolk which support education and skills training for disadvantaged groups, or which work in environmental protection and education.

Grants of up to £5,000 per year, for three years, are available to support the work of voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations who are both locally based and run, and delivering work supporting those who live and work in Suffolk with the following priorities:

  • Education and skills development for any disadvantaged groups of people in Suffolk;
  • Education and action on environmental issues;
  • Or a combination of both.

Successful applicants will be required to provide interim reporting at end of Year 1 and Year 2. Suffolk Community Foundation will also arrange visits by Frank Jackson trustees to meet funded organisations during the 3-year grant period.

Organisations that receive funding in 2024 may also apply for a second 3-year grant in 2027. New organisations will also be considered every three years.

Large national charities working in Suffolk will not be considered.
